GiG is now in Serbia with Betsson’s casino brand, Rizk. This is a big deal for GiG as it tries new markets.
Betsson plays a big role in making Rizk casino more popular. Since they bought Rizk from GiG in 2020, they’ve helped it grow in ten countries in Europe and Latin America. This shows how well GiG’s platform works for businesses.
The gambling market in Serbia will grow a lot, with revenue expected to reach about €120 million by 2023. This means it will increase by more than 8% each year for the next four years, according to H2 gambling data.
Betsson is entering Serbia, which fits their plan to grow in Central and Eastern Europe. In the second quarter of 2023, almost half of Betsson Group’s money came from this region. They also bought betFIRST in Belgium, which helped them make more money than ever before.
