XLMedia’s Asset Sale
XLMedia has decided to sell its sports betting and gaming assets in Europe and Canada to Gambling.com
Betsson AB recently acquired Holland Gaming Technology Ltd for EUR 27.5 million. Holland Gaming Technology Ltd holds a local gaming license in the Netherlands, allowing it to offer various casino games through its websites goldruncasino.nl and goldruncasino.com.
The acquisition deal was finalized on February 19, 2024, with an initial payment of EUR 16 million. Additional payments of EUR 9 million and EUR 2.5 million are scheduled over the next twelve months, pending approval from the Dutch gambling regulator KSA.
This acquisition is in line with Betsson’s strategy to drive revenue growth by expanding into regulated markets.
